Cute! He's beyond cute! I didn't weight in on the whole bf post because I don't really have any advice to share. I've been extraordinarily lucky in the bf department - so I hate to jinx that and also I don't want to piss anyone off.

Although, I'm frightened to start the baby on solids. I think I'm scared that all of a sudden the bf will end. Not rational, but I'm not ready for it to end. Not by any stretch.

I hope it all works out for you two.

What a cutie!

I kind of think your wraps and turns should be working outwards to the edges. It sort of looks like you used the wraps and turns to make short rows but also to decrease inwards rather than outwards. So then your rows would be getting longer, rather than shorter. Make any sense?

Yeah . . . what Cara and Tricia said! I'll agree with my esteemed colleague from the North because she is usually correct. You should probably be knitting to the marker, taking it off, wrapping the next stitch, then replacing the marker (now one stitch away), and repeating until you are done. But then again . . . I could be completely wrong.

I wasn't going to post again but when I read that I had gone from wackadoo to esteemed colleague. Makes me feel all ladidah.

What I came back to say was try and think of the collar as the 2nd half of a short row heel where you are picking up stitches and building outwards but in your case you are going all the way to the edge. The markers are to help establish the area that needs building up.
