Three words: Parent.Teacher.Conferences. Never fun to be on the parent side . . . even less fun to be on the teacher side. Two days of conferences with a week leading up to the actual event. Is it any wonder that I was making mistake after mistake at Knit Night on Tuesday? Very elementary mistakes . . . sad.
The Mars baby sweater is done, save for a button. If you look on the right side of the cardi, you can see where I forgot to decrease and tried to "fix" it. The hood is a bit wonky, but I think the hood is really for decoration, which would be why I am knitting a hat on the plane with the extra bit of yarn. All in all, it was an easy knit, but I really don't like Debbie Bliss patterns. Details are in the finished album.
See you soon, Lola! Tell Gus we'll read books Saturday morning . . . unless Batman is on; then all bets are off.

Good luck with all of those conferences. You should see the way our school does them. In the gym with all the parents, all the teachers & 5 feet of space between one conference and another. All the other parents lined up waiting another 5 feet away. Like a cattle call. Hellish. Nothing productive is accomplished.
Enjoy your visit with Lola!
