I signed us up for Project Spectrum 3 without running it by Ava. In return, she signed us up for ABC A-long without running it by me. In theory, we gave each other a creative pop-quiz.
I have yet to decide how I'd like to proceed with Project Spectrum 3. I'm not real sure if I'll incorporate the elements into my play. I'm not even real sure if I'll work on a color project for each cycle. For February & March, I just happen to have an orange project on the needles. My Saddle Shouldered Aran is really my only true project (remember socks & afghans don't count at Two Black Sheep). I was going to put up a PS post today with some of my Around the House favorites in the month's colors, but we had a little emergency last night.
Pup jumps on the back door to let us know she's ready to come inside. She must have hit it really hard & cracked a nail. Blood was all over the house. I spent a good 20 minutes on my knees scrubbing out doggy blood. Sure, blood is red & that fits the month, but how would I have explained my photographing blood droplets to SK's brother? Pup seems to be fine this morning & the carpet doesn't look stained.
Ava gets into town late this evening. We've got a trip to one LYS scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'm in desperate need of some yarn to start another project. Perhaps we'll do a PS day-in-the-life for our Saturday trip. Today, I'll leave you with my favorite red.
Nothing like a little Merlot to ease some back pain. Enjoy your weekend. God knows that I will! How can I not with Ava in town?

I know you and Ava will have a great time. Just try to stay on this side of sober. ;)
