I think that it's time for me to belly up to the bar & admit defeat. This Spiderman blanket has beaten me. The first start was horrendous. The increases looked like shit and the stitch count was way off. This is a simple blanket, I didn't believe that I could be that stupid. I called Ava cause I was in deep. She graciously charted out the increases & row count. I began again. I even made it into the blue! With every round, I'd be off by 2 to 6 stitches. It was too much counting & not enough love. It also doesn't help that at 11 p.m., we realized that we couldn't keep the tile behind our old counters. SK decided that last night was a perfect time to start knocking it off the walls. So between tiles dropping & my stitches being off, I said a big "Fuck You" to the blanket. Don't you hate when a project beats you?
