It's a good thing that I don't form attachment towards my knitting projects. If I did, I'd be in the middle of a shit storm every other week. Last week while knitting on my Herringbone Ribbed socks, the ball was starting to feel light. I whipped out my trusty scale & realized that once I completed the sock, I wouldn't have enough to finish sock 2. Instead of buying another ball for a toe's worth of yarn, I started frogging. It wasn't more than 10 minutes & that almost completed sock was on its way to becoming a new plain sock. And it feels good. The very fact that I have a plain ole boring sock on the needles makes my world complete.
Vivian is done & blocked. I need to track down a zipper. I've been to the fabric store twice since the bind-off. Unless I've got a list, I'm useless! There's no rush as the heat has been climbing towards the 80s faster than I'd like.
Ava, if you ever feel like spoiling Gus, Playmobil is currently huge in our house. Why? Besides the vintage vibe, there's tons of little things to snap on. Fun little characters that go on adventures, but usually end up fighting each other. And they are the only toy that remains in Gus' Toy Corner. These are definitely not for Tuck's little fingers. I've fished my share of helmets and shields out of his mouth.
Have a fantastic weekend. I'm still working on a quilt & digging for a new knit project.
